Digital or traditional printing
We use two different printing presses to print our newspapers. Both produce high-quality results on real, printed newspapers. Find out more about digital or traditional printing.
Should I print my newspaper digitally or traditionally?
Choosing digital or traditional printing mostly comes down to how many copies you’re printing:
- Under 500 copies? We'll print your newspaper digitally. This is our most popular form of printing.
- Between 500 and 1,000? You can go either way. Order a free sample pack to compare both options.
- Over 1,000 copies? Traditional printing will typically be more cost-effective.
Both printing methods are very quick, with turnaround times of 1 to 7 working days in the UK and 3 to 9 days internationally.
Digital printing (1-1,000 copies)
Digital printing is ideal for short runs and vibrant designs, with bright colours and sharp detail. You can print just one copy to test your design before ordering more.

Traditional printing (500+ copies)
Traditional printing is what the national newspapers use: fast, efficient and cost-effective for large print runs. Test copies aren’t possible, as hundreds of newspapers are printed at once. Some marking or ink transfer is expected, so our artwork guidelines are a bit stricter to help you get the best results.
